How do I prepare?
There are no prerequisites to becoming SmartSuite Certified. If you understand the features, configurations and best practices for the certification you are applying for, you’re ready to take the certification exam.
Where can I ask questions about the certification program?
The best place to ask questions about certifications is in this space in the SmartSuite Community, or you can click on the icon at the bottom right of the page to reach a member of our onboarding team.
How can I promote my certification?
When you've completed one of SmartSuites certifications, you can view your certification, download a printable copy, embed the certification badge onto your website, or add it to LinkedIn or Upwork.
I didn't pass my exam. Can I retake it?
Yes, you can take the exam once it unlocks again in 12 hours. Use this 12-hour window to study the content and read the study guide. We are unable to unlock the exam early if you do fail it.
How many questions are in the exam?
The number of questions for each certification ranges from 60 to 120.
What score do I need to pass the exam?
You must obtain a passing score of 70% or above to successfully pass the exam and obtain a certification.
Can I obtain multiple certifications?
Yes! Just follow the same process of taking a new certification.
Can I save my test progress and come back later?
You have three hours to complete your exam. You can navigate away from the exam, but if you do not return and complete the exam within three hours you will fail the exam. We suggest you block off the time required and take the exam in one sitting.
How long is my certification valid for?
Your certification is valid for a period of two years. Then you will need to retake the exam to obtain the certification again.
I passed the exam, but I think I could get a better score.
You can retake the exam as many times as you wish. Note that we will only show your most recent score.
Do I need to complete any SmartSuite courses before taking an exam?
No, but the online courses will reinforce your knowledge of the topics that are covered in exams.
